Lisa Goldstein MD

I graduated from Bryn Mawr College and from Temple University School of Medicine where I received the Centennial Year Award. I completed my internship and residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut, and completed my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, where I was the Chief Fellow. I am Board Certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

I have had a private practice since 1992 and practiced in Rosemont, Pennsylvania since 2001. I have always had a special interest in learning and education and enjoy speaking to parent groups, teachers, and mental health professionals. In addition to my general practice in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I specialize in the complicated special education needs of children with mental health and learning issues. I provide consultations and independent psychiatric evaluations to families and schools, and I have consulted with numerous school districts in Pennsylvania and Delaware. I am a member, former Board member, and former Secretary of the Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association.
I am also a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Association of Women Psychiatrists, the American Headache Society, and The National Headache Foundation.

Cathleen Mallon Sita, LSW graduated from Pennsylvania State University and received a Masters in Social Work from West Chester University. She has worked at local colleges, an adolescent residential treatment facility, and with Dr. Goldstein since 2004. Dr. Lisa Goldstein MD provides psychiatric evaluations, consultations, medication management and talk therapy. Accurate diagnosis is at the foundation of excellent psychiatric care, therefore every new patient begins with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation including a review of previous evaluations and contact with relevant professionals. For children, this always includes an initial session with the parents. Each evaluation concludes with a formal feedback session. Treatment recommendations for children and teens typically address the range of issues confronting families including the potential use of medication, appropriate therapy, and school and family services.

Cathleen Mallon Sita, LSW has a small therapy practice of her own, and also provides routine social work services to Dr. Goldstein's patients and private clients. She provides supportive talk therapy for adolescents, young adults including college students, and parents who may need some help adjusting to and supporting the special needs of their children. Dr. Goldstein is available to Cathleen's patients and their children if further psychiatric evaluation or treatment becomes necessary.

All time-sensitive issues should be communicated by phone.
